Ross McDuffie, a 16-year media veteran, is the Chief Portfolio Officer at the National Trust for Local News (NTLN). Since joining NTLN in April 2023, the organization's portfolio has expanded tenfold to include over 60 local news brands in three states. Ross began his career as a multimedia journalist for a community news organization in Georgia, earning two Emmy nominations and recognition for his creative thinking and problem-solving skills. He spent over a decade at McClatchy, leading successful digital marketing campaigns and mentoring top performers. In 2020, Ross joined Lee Enterprises, where he launched Madison Media Partners in Wisconsin and was promoted to senior executive for the state. A Berry College graduate and Trustee for the American Press Institute, Ross lives in the Atlanta suburbs with his family.
