I am an Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist passionate about cultural storytelling across broadcast, audio, and digital formats. With nearly a decade of industry experience, I’ve worked for CBS, NBC ATL, SiriusXM, Revolt, and more, holding roles ranging from talent/host to story editor and producer (AP, EP, etc.). My work spans multiple beats, including entertainment, politics, history, health, investigative journalism, and cultural/DEI storytelling.
Throughout my career, I’ve driven millions of views across every platform I’ve managed, sparking cultural conversations that have garnered celebrity attention, trended on Google News, and received congressional recognition. My stories have made it to the Georgia State Senate floor, pushed for renaming buildings in veterans' honor, and empowered marginalized communities—including women, LGBTQIA+, and Black and Brown voices. My work has been mentioned by Charlamagne Tha God numerous times and I’ve had the honor of hosting a panel featuring Princess Beatrice of The Royal Family. I’ve also been featured on The Shade Room, People Magazine, and more.
My impact extends beyond journalism, as I’ve consulted for multiple media outlets and had the privilege of speaking to Group M’s multicultural marketing department about the importance of investing in intersectional creators. I was also one of four journalists invited by Netflix to Martha's Vineyard to cover a story on Barack Obama's production company, where I built meaningful connections with their multicultural publicity team leaders. Recently, I received a shout-out from Beyonce during her Atlanta tour stop.
A key part of my work has been driving audience engagement. I have a proven track record of setting new records for audience growth across multiple digital and social platforms, including newsletters. I’ve consulted for several media outlets on strategies to engage and grow their audiences. This includes designing digital audits to establish clear KPIs, defining target audiences, analyzing results, and scaling successful experiments. I leverage social media to keep brands relevant and spark innovative conversations, driving millions of views and engagement.
