Harrison Hove is Associate Chair and Senior Lecturer in Journalism at the University of Florida. Hove also serves as Interim Director of the Innovation News Center, a converged student-powered newsroom that creates multiplatform content for professional media outlets like WUFT-TV, WUFT-FM, WRUF-AM/FM, and corresponding digital properties. Under his leadership, students in the INC earned more than 100 national, regional, and state awards during the last year. This includes national honors from the Broadcast Education Association, the Society of Professional Journalist Mark of Excellence Awards, Hearst Journalism Awards, and Radio Television Digital News Association Edward R. Murrow Awards. Hove was named the University of Florida's Teacher of the Year in 2021. He previously served as a meteorologist, news anchor and reporter in Columbus, Ohio before joining the University of Florida.
